Better than Baby Einstein
What could possibly keep a baby interested for an hour?
Watching daddy mow the lawn! This is definately better than any baby Einstein out there!

We had three boys all around the same age at our house this week. It was so much fun to watch them all interect and play together already!

I love this no pants with boots look! ha ha!

We took Ethan to the fair this weekend. He had so much fun at the petting zoo and in the big stinky barn.
This is a picture of Joe eating a DEEP FRIED SNICKERS BAR at the fair! Just looking at adds dimples to my thighs. I did have a bite, and it was everything I imagined it would be. Now I have to run a marathon!

All in a month!
I tell ya, it's wild the things a baby learns to do in a month. If I learned as much as he did in a month, as an adult, I'd probably be a rocket scientist or something! He got into these jones soda candy things and ate one. We let him finish it though because he loved it, we couldn't get it out of his mouth!
I walked into his room one morning and he's peaking at me over the crib! Look at those chunker legs!

He's pulling up on everything!!! I love this stage!!
And finally, we went from the scoot to the crawl in one day! Of course, it happened while I was gone and daddy was home with him so he got to see it first!21.9.07

Tube Fun

This boy has been crawling non-stop around our house, and he has now discovered our stairs! Toys have no meaning, not even the baby elmo that moves and talks! So my mom told me about this monstrous tube thing at Costco and we went right away to buy it. Only $30! it took some coaxing, (marshmallows) to get Ethan in there, but now he loves it. I don't fit in the tubes so I just peak in at him. Our dog loves it too. Now that's money well spent! :)8.9.07

August Girl's Lunch
We had such a fun August girl's lunch at BriAnne's mom's house. Thanks again to everyone who could come! We were so happy to see those of you who were in town for a few days pay us a visit too! What a treat! The food was great! I can't believe how much everyone's babies have grown too!

Look at all of the cute little Mommies and their babies!!!!

Many of us brought old pictures from highschool and junior high and we had fun remember the good times!
And the winner of the most embarrasing, awkward, and funny picture goes to...Hawli for bringing this doozy of a picture. I have to point out that we all have Winnie the Pooh stickers on, and Shannon went to the bathroom and threw up in the bathroom immediately following the picture. She looks a little pale...
Love ya girls!10.8.07
Hate your drab bathroom mirror?
I saw this idea on a fellow scrapbloggers website http://ameubanks.wordpress.com/tag/interior-design/ and I think it is a adorable idea! They no longer appreciated their bathroom mirror which was stuck to the wall in a flat, boring sort of way (like mine is) so they hung another well-frame mirror by knob and ribbon and added a special look to the bathroom. What a creative, but cheap way to doll up a space! I'm totally doing this! You can too. :)1.8.07
Arizona Idol Auditions
Hey all! They didn't choose me as the next Arizona Idol, but this was such a fun experience. Those of you in AZ who like to sing oughta try it next year!

Primary Activity Day Carnival
This was my first offical primary activity day to plan so I was a little stessed and nervous that it would all go well, but it was a big hit! We had hot dogs, all sorts of booths, a magician, a bounce house and a cake walk at the end. It was so rewarding seeing all of the kids have so much fun!

Life's good!
We taught Ethan how to clap this week! He's so proud of himself when he claps, he looks around to make sure everyone saw him. I love this new 'monkey see, monkey do' stage!
Okay so I love giving Ethan foods that he can hold himself and snack on, but heaven sakes, these cookies are so messy! I have to hold him over the sink to wash him off I loved this picture of him with the smash of cookie in his hand!
I know, I know, kind of a slinky picture. Okay, so I like to watch Tyra on her talkshow and I always pause it if I have to get up and do something so I can come back where I left off, well I just happened to pause it while she was doing her 'so what' speech and she was just trying to emphasize her point. Tyra, love ya, but FYI, #1 your face looks like you're constipated, #2 your busoms don't need anymore emphasis!23.7.07
It's SOOOO HOT!
It's Soooo Hot Here!
The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.
The trees are whistling for the dogs.
The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
Hot water now comes out of both taps.
You can make sun tea instantly.
You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
The temperature drops below 95 F (35 C) and you feel a little chilly.
You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.
You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.
Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"
You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.
The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper. and of course Sour Cream, diced onions and a few serving spoons of Chile
Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs.
The cows are giving evaporated milk.
I got this as a forward from a friend and it's so true!
